We are actually warming into the low 20s the next few days with chances for some snow. We'll warm to upper 30s with partial sunshine later in the week.

It’s a party here in Arkansas. About 8” where we are. Making most of it since we haven’t gotten real snow in many years. Image

I got at least 8"-10" with a lot of drifting. The snow that drifted onto the ramp of my deck was 28" & there
were drifts in the yard even deeper.

Cold and roads are mostly ice now. A low of 7 last night, a near all time low. Just hanging at home a few days. Should warm up Saturday and make it all good again.

We have 6-7” of snow siting on top of 1/2” of ice from the freezing rain and sleet we got late last week. It was 0 degrees when I woke up this morning with a windchill of -11. My well pipes have frozen twice. I managed to get that thawed out, but then my central heat went out last night. We got by alright and got the unit fixed this morning. I’m waiting to see what screws up today. I don’t know how you yankees deal with this chit every year. Has anyone ever explored what would happen if we just killed that groundhog and took our chances? I’ve never been so ready for spring.

I'm not sure Montanans are Yankees, but we can darn sure have some cold weather. We bury water lines deep, keep snow shovels and snow blowers tuned up, snow tires mounted, 4x4s in check, snow plows at the ready, coats and gloves always handy, heat lamps pointed at everything remotely possible to freeze. More than one heat source is never a bad idea either. In addition to that we pray for a warm spring.

I'm sure glad I'm not a "mid-western" fella anymore, livin' in Michigan!! :LMAO:

Old buddy called this morning from where we lived one time in "The Thumb", said he wasn't gonna' start plowing snow till' noon.
Guess his snow wasn't going anywhere, even with the wind :LMAO:
