Someone could take the 700, Model 7, 870, and versions of the 1100 - all new retooling - modernized offerings with minor modifications and have the core of a solid company. They could use a new, modern semi auto in 12 and 20. Stick to hunting variations and window dressings. It wouldn’t take long to overcome the issues of the past under new ownership and management.
