It last it last a while...I will put it like this you can make it threw a whole spring season on one blade and that’s using it to cut the legs offs get the breast ready for a fry....I’m not a deer hunter but I wouldn’t be afraid to do a deer with 2/3

I just got this Damascus and stag handle from Shawn Greco in Texas. Absolutely love it. Made with high carbon steel. I prefer fixed blade knives and have an addiction with them.

The link is the one I have. I used one filet blade to clean three turkeys this spring and then cleaned fish with it until late June. I got it last Christmas so I will update you if I clean a deer or two and hogs. Been very happy with it and like it come with the multiple style blades.

The knife doesn't matter, it's having your son on the Camoman Prostaff and getting a free knife sharpener. That thing could put an edge on a golf ball you could shave with, just saying ! :thumbup:
