Never forget,

Still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. The eerie silence in the skies, except for the Fighters flying in and out of the Base we live next to. Thoughts, prayers and condolences to all the families who suffered a loss on that day. May we never forget......

I think we old folks will never forget, but this sorry young generation has already forgot they care less for the country and only for them self, and I'm not sure the country will survive it. There are some good kids but far to many that don't care.

I worked in the Tech Center for Verizon/GTE Data Services in Temple Terrace, FL. A lot
of the conference rooms had TVs for video conferencing across the country. They would
get 1 local TV station. I was walking past 1 room & looked to see why so many people
were totally silent. The TV was telecasting the plane strikes. There wasn't a dry eye
in the room, including mine.


For the rest of that day, not much work got done. Everyone was walking around like zombies.
It still upsets me to this day.
