Gun case for airplane travel
I am looking at the SKB double bow cases. Which model number would you recommend? I plan to fly next spring and hunt NH/ME

If you're just taking a shotgun. This is similar to the one I use.

You do have to take the gun apart but no oversize baggage fees.

Thank you Lord for creating these wonderful birds and allowing us to chase after them.

Re: Gun case for airplane travel
I have a Plano that my first wife bought me. It's probably 25 years old. I used it to fly to Iowa many years ago and I'm taking it with 2 rifles in November to Montana on a flight. It's super heavy, but super solid also. I've had no reason to look for anything else.

I use those cheap double rifle plastic case. I pull the foam out of the side that my gun is not in and pack my clothes in there. I wear my vest on the plane. I wear my camo and lacrosse boots on the plane. I use my personal item and carry one more more clothes if necessary.

We take that SKB that has the wheels on it. It easily holds 4 shotguns with red dots if only 2 of them have pistol grips. Great case
