Shane,

Reminds me of my time at Texas A&M when the spring time flowers were everywhere. Bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, etc. Really cool pictures of amazing scenery. Glad you and your wife get to share that.

Gorgeous wildflower meadows.

I planted about 2000 square feet of my yard in wildflower this year. Just got notice yesterday from the HOA that they “don’t fit” the neighborhood and they have to go. The pollinators just started showing up so that ain’t happening.

Its been mid 90s here for a week or more. Its miserable, but those accustomed to humidity would probably think it was nice. However, it was 66 in the mountains when I took the photos.

That's what we try to do in the summer. Up around 3000' and it cools off enough to be bearable. Only downside is it rains most afternoons and when you're that high in GA you'e in the clouds.

Yes, my wife. We didn't hike far at all. I would have went down a steep ridge to look at a hidden park for elk sign but no way she was doing that in tennis shoes
