Bear Tag.

Post by redarrow »

Got drawn for a Michigan bear tag today. It takes approx. 9 years to get drawn in the area I like to hunt. This would have been my 9th year.

Wait, draw for a bear tag ? Tried to pull in my driveway Saturday morning and had to wait for the herd to cross. They are an absolute nuisance here in Western Mass. ! BTW, BOTH dogs and bait are illegal here, but a corn field in September is fine !

I know a fella out of Winn that hunts with great dogs, I believe in 2 different areas in the U.P..
Your tag isn't probably in those areas as I'm sure he may have room for another hunt??

Regardless, kill a big bruin

FYI Make sure and watch Steve Rinella's episode on "MeatEater" concerning trichinosis contracted from eating improperly cooked black bear meat. Congrats on the tag and be careful.
