My avitar has a good dead head pic. 12 ga from a distance of probably 18". The wad went right through the head.

This guy got too close (11 yards) on the last day of the 2013 season when I had one tag left. Two ounces of Hevi 6's don't play at 33 feet...I guess no turkey load does....
He had beard rot, but a full fan.

At close range, inside 5 yards I don't even try to head shoot them anymore. Fired one to many warning shots at that distance!
