God rest her soul. This came across my FB today, made me tear up. My mom was weather obsessed. Literally she'd call me when guiding or hunting outta stats at 4am tell me the weather. I'd be like I know I looked at my phone been outside, yes I know it's 45 and raining. She'd do same to my sister's aunts her friends obsessed
Dad sAid when I traveled he couldn't watch TV as she had the town plugged into the dish app on tv she would not only check where I was but our entire family How much snow you get, the winds bad etc
She would blow up my phone KS Fl anytime a tornado watch surfaced. Yes, mom paying attention to it on my phone. She'd bow it up so bad I was embarrassed in front of clients. Finally I told her I'll call you before bed.She was pissed
Now I'd die to have weather update

The bond between a Mother and her children is unlike any other!
I am fortunate enough to still have my Mom around and near me!
I am blessed!

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Re: My Mom in a Nutshell
For about two months I'd get up at 7 awaiting her call and I'd go to my phone book scroll to her and it would come to me no longer have that and cry. Actually been strong, but somedays sal will look at me and ask why I'm crying, I call it a "miss my mommy moment" can be a memory, recipe, place I pass etc
My middle sister is a complete dumpster fire. When in reality out of my siblings I was closest. She posts stuff on FB daily counseling, ADs. I bet I have 50-100 losing ma memes saved. I think I've posted one.
Some nights I'll look through them when sal goes to bed. Or I'll play Drowning by Chris Young over and over and over again. When it comes on radio sal changes station instant tears it's an awesome song
I have few friends I turn to sometimes, but they are amazing.
I'm fortunate my God mother "her sister" are really close she lives down by you talk to her everyday, really stepped up, mom's happy I know.
