White gobbler

Post by coconut »

Saw a almost solid white gobbler running with 8 others yesterday. Has black bars on his tail feathers. Is this a tame turkey cross or a naturally occurring color variation?

Tame/cross most likely. Albinos exist, but they are exceedingly rare and wouldn’t have black bars. And the “smoke” color phase is really light compared to normal, but not really white.
