nitro , why are they not using GOD instead they use yah ?
I asked for there Nitro explanation , of course they never responded , there site said in yah we trust , However IN GOD WE TRUST , is how it is written . I guess Christian people do not own this , since Yah is Jewish , in which they should explain rather then look up meaning of there language . They never responded to simple explanation why ? they charge enough to us turkey hunters , think they might get in habit of using IN GOD WE TRUST

Most likely only they can answer your question, but I agree with you.

Please don't take this as any kind of slight against any religious belief you may hold. But this really seems like you creating something to be upset about. Recreational outrage as Joe Rogan coined it.
"In Yah We Trust" is a pun. "Yah We" = Yahweh. See what they did there. My general feelings about puns aside, I don't see how that is offensive to anyone. Yahweh is not the name of some pagan idol or jihadist symbol. It's in the bible. It is just another name for God. And "Yah" isn't Jewish. "Yah" isn't even a word. It's just written separately as part of the Nitro pun. Jews say God. And Elohim. And Adonai. And HaShem. Devout Jews actually make a point not to say Yahweh.
I'm not a religious scholar by anybody's definition, but this didn't take much research. When God first revealed himself to Moses - burning bush and everything - Moses asked God what his name was. God's answer: "I AM THAT I AM." But apparently even then that was too much of a riddle because God then said: "say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever." (Ex. 3:4-15).
So, directly from God's mouth, God's name "forever" is LORD. Except, Moses wrote in Hebrew. So presumably, God was speaking in Hebrew. What Moses actually wrote down as the name of God was YHWH (or the Hebrew letters for YHWH), which was used in the earliest Hebrew text of the bible. At some point ancient Jews felt that the name YHWH was too holy to be spoken. So they started using the more common words "Elohim" meaning "God" and "Adonai" meaning "Lord." So the common use of God and Lord comes from early devout Jews substituting those words for YHWH when transcribing the original Hebrew bible. When you see LORD in the Old Testament of your bible (all caps), it was originally YHWH in Hebrew.
There is no Y or W in latin. So when translated to Latin (in a way that could be pronounced) a J and a V were used and YHWH became "Jehovah" (Je pronounced like "Ya"). Later English speaking Christian scholars translated YHWH/Jehovah to "Yahweh." We also still use Jehovah. But pronounced in English with the J sound. Jehovah and Yahweh both come from YHWH in Hebrew.
Just because "In God We Trust" is printed on currency, statues, and police cars does not mean it's the only acceptable way to convey that one trusts in God. God, Lord, Father, Yahweh, Jehovah, I Am, Jesus, Christ -- all different (Christian) names for the same Almighty. So let's not boycott Nitro just yet. Unless it's because of their prices.

I am close personal friends with Ray and Sandy. They never fail to call me at least once a month, just to check in and chit chat, and see how we are doing.
I can tell you first hand, that they are good, respecting people, with good and high values.
I have no idea what that little blurb means, or their religious beliefs are, but they seem to have all the same as me. We even talk about all this political bullcrap that is happening in our Great country right now.
Just my two cents.

The nice thing about being an American is we can all get along while having different beliefs and view points. Religiously and politically.trainman14 wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 4:46 pm I asked for there Nitro explanation , of course they never responded , there site said in yah we trust , However IN GOD WE TRUST , is how it is written . I tend to not pay attention to what others say and claims as far as religion goes unless that person or company is into devil worshipping and I just go my own way. Politically speaking I am sick of the socialist agenda that’s trying to destroy our constitution and take away our God given rights

no worry about that , when they do not return calls or email , apparent they do not need the business .aristico wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 11:53 pmWhy do they have to explain anything to you? As far as a response from them goes....I don't know them at all but probably wouldn't have taken your question seriously. To be honest, I didn't think you were serious when I first saw your question considering how easy it is to go from "Yah We" to Yahweh. Yahweh was the first thing that came to my mind. I'm not a scholar by any means but it's not uncommon to hear the name of God expressed as Yahweh. It's just Hebrew.
However, I'm as likely to have a brain fart as anyone.

Personally I don't believe they owe you or me an explanation. I am a Christian. I gave my heart and soul to Christ one cold morning in a deer blind in northern Michigan.A depressed man with a loaded rifle is a recipe for disaster. Jesus met with me that morning and I have been walking hand in hand with him these many years. I have heard of the many names he is referred to. Yahweh, Abba,The Christ,Day Star, etc. When asked who he is,he simply replied "I am". God bless my Brother.
