Rice Bran
We were talking about rice bran a couple weeks ago. I put some out and have been getting a lot of good buck pictures since then. I like the first picture a lot.

Stud.
Like I said in that thread, KS, best bait. All excited to try at home, waited at co-op as they were scratching heads to find it, it rotted in woods.
I know folks who struggle with brassicas and others who have tremendous luck. Gotta condition I guess

Re: Rice Bran
Good looking deer. Rice bran is my go-to for feed. It seems to attract waaaay more bucks than corn ever has for me....especially this time of year. And those big boys seem to love it. Unfortunately, the pigs love it just as much, if not more. One weird thing I have noticed over the years feeding bran....bran in a paper sack vs. bran is a plastic, woven type, sack....paper sack all day long. Not sure what it is, but the deer on my place much prefer it from a paper bag. I've put it out from the plastic sack before and had it mold and mildew. Wouldn't touch it. Most of the time they will eventually eat it, but not nearly as fast. Pigs don't care.
Feel, don't think. Trust your instincts.

Re: Rice Bran
The bigger deer has been there 13 days in a row now between 7 and 8 am. I moved a camera in the front yard for a different view. You can see my hunt camp/trailer. The bigger deer is about a hundred yards from this location.
