I recently came into possession of an older Beretta BL-3 20 gauge o/u. It had fixed M/ IC chokes, and first thing that came to mind is if it would handle TSS. Does anyone have any experience with these guns? In comparison to a Savage 220 it has a bit thinner barrel wall.
Thing is pretty light and would make a sweet rig for lugging up and down some hills.
Thanks

It will definitely handle properly loaded tss rounds. But I doubt if you will be able to have choke tubes installed due to the thinner barrels. I had one several years ago and Grouse hunted with it quite a bit. They are definitely sweet little guns!

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear. Looking for a user friendly gun my son could use and would think the open chokes would lend itself to that with TSS.

All you need to do is figure out what load and shot size will shoot the best from that Berretta
