Remember when we’d loved to get that out of a 12?

Impressive

Have you cleaned your barrel in between shots?

Barrel was cleaned prior to shooting. I did not clean in between shots.

Wow that is a wonderful hunting pattern. Full and forgiving at the same time.

Actually held one of these at a local shop here in Ohio yesterday. Feels like a great little gun. Congrats

I already have an IC .380 choke on hand for it and 2 boxes of #9 TSS 3”. Trying to decide if I want to stick with the factory sights or put a reflex sight on it. Thinking it may double as a decent squirrel gun too!
Did you happen to try factory choke what is constriction

I’ve only shot some standard field loads through the factory choke to get the reflex sight close to zero.

Ha, wild how times have changed huh? Younger guys, and I am not old, will never know what 2-1/8 or 2-1/4oz load out of a 12lb 10 gauge felt like. Just to get a decent 40 yard killing pattern. I still find it hard to wrap my head around how fast things changed and how much turkey guns/ loads have changed. So much fun this ride is.

Yea buddy!! I remember buying a NEA 10 ga single shot and a couple boxes of whatever Remington was peddling for them. If I remember it was a fixed full choke. It was so peas on paper that I gave up on it before it detatatched my retinas! I’m glad I didn’t know about Nitro at the time, I probably would have tried some real ammunition in that boat anchor.

Nice I just bought the mossberg SA 410ga TSS turkey gun Friday. Kind of wish I went with the field model. It has 5 chokes with it. Going to order a Indian Creek turkey choke when they get in stock. I may just go ahead order the field model too. I have the mossberg 500 410 TSS turkey gun also. I squirrel hunt with a 410 all the time. Only way to shoot a 410 alot is to reload for it.
