FYI Mossberg SA20/28 owners..
If you are wanting a pistol grip stock for your turkey gun, get a serial number from a Tristar sub gauge shotgun and you can call Tristar USA and buy one for $100
I don't know why they need a serial number
Ordered my stock today should have next week then I will update with pictures

Wouldn't buy it, never a need for a serial number to match a stock !

So the serial number off any 20, 28, or 410? Are they all the same size?

Sub gauge is same size. I sure they would still allow you to order the subgauge stock even if it’s a 12 or 20Skimerhorn wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 12:21 pm So the serial number off any 20, 28, or 410? Are they all the same size?

Then my numbers would be 2 digits off or swap a 3 for a 6 or a 6 for a 9 in the serial number, just sayingturkeyinstrut wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 8:31 amSeveral gun manufacturers roll like that now, no serial number, no parts.

Hoobilly, 28 and 410 are the same size receiver, I was told the 20 is a platform all it's own, (by Tristar).hoobilly wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 12:31 pmSub gauge is same size. Your correct. I was told my a good source that you can use the 20 also but there’s a small lip sticking around the receiver on the 28/410turkeyinstrut wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 3:34 pmHoobilly, 28 and 410 are the same size receiver, I was told the 20 is a platform all it's own, (by Tristar).hoobilly wrote: ↑June 5th, 2020, 12:31 pmSub gauge is same size. How are these 28 gauge guns patterning? What manufacturer and constriction chokes are you using?

Re: FYI Mossberg SA20/28 owners..
this Mossberg SA28 Compact youth with short barrel 23" with the IndianCreek 520 and my FoxTrotCherry bomb 9.5's shot 403 on a good day and on a hot muggy day shot 377 in the 10" circle at 40 yards. I haven't cleaned this barrel either. Just got my other IndianCreek 525 and will be shooting 9's and 8.5's to see how well that does. Same gun, 2 buddies have they are shooting over 310 consistently with 9'sdustyroads wrote: ↑June 16th, 2020, 6:35 pm How are these 28 gauge guns patterning? Lord willing!
Can’t wait for fall turkey
Re: FYI Mossberg SA20/28 owners..
I'm looking forward to the fall season also. I normally dont strictly hunt birds in the fall. My spring season was a wash so I need redemption. LOL
