FYI Mossberg SA20/28 owners..

If you are wanting a pistol grip stock for your turkey gun, get a serial number from a Tristar sub gauge shotgun and you can call Tristar USA and buy one for $100

I don't know why they need a serial number

Ordered my stock today should have next week then I will update with pictures

Wouldn't buy it, never a need for a serial number to match a stock ! :rebel:

Several gun manufacturers roll like that now, no serial number, no parts.

So the serial number off any 20, 28, or 410? Are they all the same size?

Sub gauge is same size. I sure they would still allow you to order the subgauge stock even if it’s a 12 or 20

Then my numbers would be 2 digits off or swap a 3 for a 6 or a 6 for a 9 in the serial number, just saying

Hoobilly, 28 and 410 are the same size receiver, I was told the 20 is a platform all it's own, (by Tristar).

Your correct. I was told my a good source that you can use the 20 also but there’s a small lip sticking around the receiver on the 28/410

How are these 28 gauge guns patterning? What manufacturer and constriction chokes are you using?

this Mossberg SA28 Compact youth with short barrel 23" with the IndianCreek 520 and my FoxTrotCherry bomb 9.5's shot 403 on a good day and on a hot muggy day shot 377 in the 10" circle at 40 yards. I haven't cleaned this barrel either. Just got my other IndianCreek 525 and will be shooting 9's and 8.5's to see how well that does. Same gun, 2 buddies have they are shooting over 310 consistently with 9's

I'm looking forward to the fall season also. I normally dont strictly hunt birds in the fall. My spring season was a wash so I need redemption. LOL
