I’m about to get a 20 gage for next year. Looking at the 870 youth or the Benelli m2! Not sure,I want a gun that will product the tightest pattern at 40 I can get! Will the Benelli our preform the 870? From what I have red they seem to? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

As far as TSS performance, they’ll be zero difference. The difference will be choke and load depending.

I have both an 870 20ga and a Benelli M2 20ga. Both have .555 Indian ck chokes. Not enough difference in pattern to notice. I carry the Benelli simply because I prefer it.

They’ll shoot the same. Just decide which one you prefer to carry

Both great guns!

M2 is my favorite the workmanship is better but the price reflects it steeply.
