What about kicks .410 Gobblin thunder

Post by Justin W »

Just saw they’re making a choke for the Stevens 301T now. They do not advertise the constriction. Anyone bought one and measured it yet? I would be content on a .385 Indian Creek but I can’t find one anywhere

Indiancreek sure raised the bar on the 410’s

Would love to see patterns from them and several other new chokes out there

I have a Jeb's Headhunter (.385) on mine but it is yet untested. I'll post a picture or two within a week or so.

The little kicks 410 looks good. Constriction not listed on website. Can't go wrong with a Kicks or IC.

Two shots through a clean gun averaged 180 in the 10”, and 105-110 in the 20” at 40 yards with the kicks .385 and Hal’s 370NM 9.5 handloads. Whats interesting to me (and idk if you can tell from this pic) is that almost the entire pattern was in a 15” circle. There were a few outside of the 20”, but most of the pattern was a tight 15” circle. Not hardly as tight as the Indian creek, but a very good option nonetheless. I almost prefer the 15” killing pattern vs. a hot 10” core

Shot it again today to adjust the sights. Seems to be doing well. 192 in the 10”, and 124 in the 20”

Yep, my TSS approved of it! :D

I realize that Kicks doesn’t like Hevishot or TSS, but I’ve shot a bunch off TSS through several different kicks, and I know lots of others have too.
