410 Gauge constriction .380, .385, .390
Considering purchasing an Indian Creek choke tube for a TriStar turkey gun in 410 gauge, what size constriction do you think would work best for federal #9 shot tss.

I might add.. he said he had shot all other manufacturers 385 chokes and it would only hit the low 140’s

I think you have to consider that all guns vary a little. Sure there are trends to what they like and that’s where you start, but each one can be different.
Best I remember if you buy direct from IC, they will let you swap chokes til you are satisfied.

I would start with 385 if I wanted to shoot 9s, and if I wanted to go smaller to 9.5 or 10s, I would start with 380. Just my experience with 3 different 410s and you will definitely get better performance out of TSS 9.5 or 10 in the 410.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Bought a 380 from Hoobilly, hope my Savage 301T shoots like Terrrells Tristar. Thanks Mr. Hoobilly, fixin to order some 383 Strokers from you Sir. And by the way , Not sure many turkey hunters know what a 383 stroker is but working in racing for most of my life I know it’s hard to beat a small block with lots of cubic inches and a big ole carb.

not just yet on these 410 chokes. due to the time frame with turkey season approaching and the limited supply of chokes for this spring they just can't do that right now. probably next yearBrowningGuy88 wrote: ↑January 11th, 2020, 9:37 am I think you have to consider that all guns vary a little. I went with a 380 myself for my tristar it’s getting dipped right now..Haven’t shot tss in it yet not much help.
I will say don’t wait long to get a choke because they won’t be around long this year..Very limited supply of them from what I was told
