Has anyone had any experience with a TR Imports Silver Eagle Stalker? I'm tempted to pick up one in .410, and see how it does as a turkey thumper with TSS.

I have 2. 1 22 inch barrel youth gun and a 26 inch barrel standard version both in 410. Swapped the youth stock set over to the 26 inch gun. Throwing 120 in the 10 @40 w/ #9s. Neither gun shots point of aim so I installed a Bushnell red dot. My boy got his first turkey with this setup.

Does the youth slug version really weigh seven pounds? Are they found in a chain store?

I think the 28" 12 ga is that weight. I picked up the .410 at a store last week, and it was lighter than the H&R beside it.

That's the problem. I can't find much information about the gun online. I'm going to pick one up next time I can get to that store to try. Just debating between the vent rib or smooth slug barrel.

The 410 has a vent rib?

Yes it has a vent rib and fiber optic front bead

Does the .410 28" vent rib have screw in chokes?

No kythunter they are fixed choke guns. Made in turkey I believe. Imported by t&s imports.

You have options with the vent rib. Easily installed Williams Firesights made for VR's. Others, too. Can also mount a red dot without drilling and tapping. Jamey mounted a red dot on his Vent Ribbed .410.

I went the same route cantilever rib mount and Bushnell trs-25 red dot

Yes throwing 120 with 9's, thinking about trying some 10's to see what it might do. Or possibly sending to sumtoy for choke work.
