12 ga. Benelli Mobil Chokes with TSS
Going to try to help my buddy tighten up his Benelli SBE. It uses Mobil chokes. Currently using a factory .675 that is non-ported without any wad catchers. With a 1.75 oz handload of 8.5s it did an uninspiring 189/10 (553 pellets in load). Anybody have experience with a choke that works well with that gun and TSS? Thanks.

Jebs .650

I used the 665 injincrik in mine. Wanted to try a 660 but they were stolen and never able to see if the 660 would do anything or not
I imagine that smaller payload would definitely shoot good from a 665

The only gun I ever struggled with using TSS was a SBE II, though with crio chokes. I tried a handful of chokes and all were underwhelming. I got with Hal and wound up trying a different load using CSD100 wads and only split them 1/2 way down. That finally gave acceptable patterns.

Thanks for the input, guys. This thread is over a year old, and my buddy decided that what he had was good enough. Wouldn't be for me, but it's his dime. I told him my ST .675 does 345/10 with 1&5/8 oz of TSS 9s, but he decided to stick with what he has.

I like my Sumtoy 0.665 with 8.5s.
Edit: I should've read the last post before I added mine lol.

What kind of results were you getting out of what load/choke?Southern Sportsman wrote: ↑March 15th, 2021, 8:46 amThe only gun I ever struggled with using TSS was a SBE II, though with crio chokes.
