Open chokes and light loads

Post by Stewy24 »

New here this is my first post. I’ve got some tss on the way to roll my own turkey loads and was looking at going with a lighter loads, probably 1 7/16 or less. Unsure if I will get ahold of a 20ga to play with since all the stuff that’s going on. So I have my 12s to play with for now the chokes I have are 670 for my 870 and 680, factory xfull for a mossberg. Anybody run similar stuff with good results? I know testing will be the only way to tell for sure.

The MiniTwister 1-5/8 in the 12ga likes a 665-660 Indiancreek

Shoots pretty fast 1300fps. Larger shot more open. Smaller shot a lil tighter
