Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Ok, I just heard back from Ole Raspy. He is not going to be able to use this travel call due to being under the weather. He told me to ship it to whomever wants to use it next. I guess first come first served. Let me know and it will go out Monday.

Ole Raspy has been ill. So anyone else who wants to hunt with it speak up.

Still hoping to use it and still looking at MI some time the last 2 weeks in May's skeeter season
But the trip isn't etched in stone yet, the way COVID is still on the rise in MI ..

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
I'm thinking that people think I've cursed this call; therefore nobody wants it. Hell if that's the case I wouldn't want to pass it on.....maybe I should just keep it????Lausman Game Calls wrote: ↑April 18th, 2020, 2:39 pm Ole Raspy has been ill. So anyone else who wants to hunt with it speak up.

Hang on to it until someone steps up and wants it. This virus has been brutal for traveling turkey hunting.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
I still have this call. It's up for grabs if anyone wants to use it. It's a great call and I love the two strikers that come with it. Shoot me a PM if you want it. If it isn't claimed soon, I'm gonna treat it as abandoned property and KEEP IT! I haven't been successful with it yet, or for that reason none of my calls.
Karl, what are those two strikers made of? Also I like the smaller diameter of them.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
I'd take it here in MT but not sure if that'll work with your schedule or if I needed to have previously signed up. My season runs to the 17th and I'll be hunting Friday Saturday with Isaac. Then Mon - Wed with a buddy. After that it depends on the tags that o have left. I wanted to do SD late season end of May, but not sure that'll work this year

I’m kidding. I’d rather you keep plugging away wit it or let someone else enjoy it. I’ll have plenty of time with it once I win it.CamoMan4025 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2020, 1:19 pmDoesn't matter to me. I’m heading back to SouthDakota in 2 weeks. Sending the Savage Box to Lausman in the morning. The trumpet is also ready to go wherever

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Hey all! Thank y’all for the time using the travel call. Just wish more traveling was going on but circumstances are what they are. Hope Ole Raspy is feeling better. To answer the question about the strikers- one is birch peg and the other is laminated and both have walnut heads. Looking forward to getting that fine looking Savage box call and giving it a whirl. Unfortunately the birds are pretty much done here but will give them a run for their money.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Got word last night my MI buddy is down to 650 acres of Soys to plant then we're headed that way. Got our licenses for MI and looks like 5/15 ??
I'll just have to wait and see what date we leave and hope the calls available, but then again, hopefully there will be next year

Nobody has spoken up for the call. I can mail it out to you Monday (I'm going to use it this weekend) if you and your buddy was to use it in MI.
Let me know.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Just got the call today from CamoMan and sure love the sound and sure has a ranging travel to it!!!!
The one striker has a real good ole' raspy hen call to it and sure is going to be fun to use.. now to get the word to head north!
Still going to be 28 this weekend there and sure can't imagine any seed germination yet let alone emergence!!
Good news is "should be no skeeter's this skeeter season hunt"

It may very well "freeze off" and that's why I like the "skeeter season" better now, as I'm a "gentle man hunter"hoobilly wrote: ↑May 7th, 2020, 4:01 pmHope your snood doesn’t freezesoiltester wrote: ↑May 7th, 2020, 3:13 pm Just got the call today from CamoMan and sure love the sound and sure has a ranging travel to it!!!!

He's on his last field of plantin' soys tonight, and as he says, "fer' the 1st time" and have to have them planted before you can replant em' the 2nd time
Said suppose to be 25 Sat night
Only time will tell when I get the word when we can and will head north
