WTB 3-9x40mm or 4-12x40mm scope

Post by Jbird22 » September 9th, 2020, 10:27 pm

Like the title says, I'm looking to buy either of those to go on a slug gun. I'm not looking for anything expensive, just something reputable that will hold zero. Interested in Burris, Redfield, Nikon, Bushnell, Vortex, etc...

I have a Weaver Grand Slam 3.5-10 X 50. Was on my son’s rifle less than half a season. He got a Swarovski that Christmas. I compared it to a Kahles at dark one evening. Couldn’t tell the difference. It has been lying in my safe for years. I’ll take $170 for it shipped.

Don't know if you would be interested in a 32 mm objective, but I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7x32 scope (matte) that I would sell for $100 to your door. MSRP was $265, and the scope only weighs 12 oz. It has the rainguard coating on the objective lens that causes water to bead up so as not to obscure the sight picture.

I've had it on my Remington 700 ML for several years and it has always held zero. I have another just like it mounted on a slug gun. They will handle heavy recoil with aplomb.

PM if interested.
