Is there an update as to when we will receive the books we ordered and paid for?

Yes, finally I have some good news. We mailed more than 160 book packages on Oct. 1 and the postal service promptly lost more than 140 of them. I have been trying ever since to get them off their butts and find the packages, but it was only when I contacted my congressman and both senators that something shook loose. The packages were found Nov. 11 or Nov. 12 in the Memphis, TN media mail processing facility, and books started being delivered Friday the 13th. Anyone who ordered prior to Oct. 1 and who has not received their book can contact me at modernmountainman@gmail.com and I'll track your package for you and give you a report.

Better news is that the books mailed after Oct. 1 are being delivered in timely fashion. If anybody wants a copy, let me know. $22 plus $4 S&H, additional copies $18 each. When ordered with a Bad Birds 2, you can also get my other two turkey books (the original Bad Birds and Turkey Hunting Digest) for $12 each, no limit.
