No on the Crispi, not too familiar with their offerings after that one pair. I have great luck with Asolo.

Re: Crispi Boots
Make sure you can try them on somewhere, I bought a pair of Crispi a few years back in the size I wear from every boot I have ever owned, they tore my heels up! Particularly my left which is strange as my left foot is bigger and that boot fit better than the right one. I had no where local to try th...

Scalar works has a low mount, not sure the difference. I would love it if Burris figured out a universal speed bead!

8s at 1100?
That is a lot of shot! I would shoot 1 5/8th oz but that is me. If you really want the extra penetration and stick with that heavy load I would probably go straight 7.5?
I find very few 9s in the birds I shoot, occasionally in the wing base mostly.

In the right plae they are awesome, a friend has that megatron version, dual battery, dual moto,r dual drive! Over 6k for that thing. Non motorized trails have different rules depending on where you are, 750w or less motor is a common restriction but it seems as of know this is all over the map and ...

I had one of those guns, it shot everything well, this was pre TSS. I would look at the mini twister foxtrot, with that gas system and weight of the gun recoil will be very tame!

I can make a pretty good sandhill call with a short reed goose call.
We used to hunt behind a golf course, we would pull up to the club house and slam car doors and beep the horn, whole farm would gobble!

Foxtrot will have the best recs for your gun/load/choke combos! My humble opinion doesn't line up with your post of maximum range performance!
I would shoot foxtrot mini twister in 12ga personally!

Did you degrease it when new, they ship with cosmiline typically, a anti corrosion grease type stuff, turns to glue basically! Degrease that whole thing, take the magazine tube spring out and clean inside of tube and spring, lightly oil the spring. Get a quality gun oil and run it wet and see how it...

Make sure you degrease that thing, lot's of the imported guns come from the factory with cosmoline on them to prevent corrosion. My sa 20 did and that crap turns to glue over time.
I have heard of others playing with the mag spring in the 20ga as well, I would start with a good cleaning of the tube.

The thing that intrigues me about it is the motion sensor, turns itself on when moved, shuts down while still. I still haven't gone to a dot though.

That will do, what choke is that? I shot the stock turkey choke in my thug version for a couple years then went to an Indian creek .555, it's nasty, though I do believe the stock choke may be a better hunting pattern, fortunately they both shoot the same so I could switch if I wanted. But the IC has...

I never minded the recoil either, until I shot loads that did as well without it!
That 835 i had was just plain abusive, that was pre hevi shot days and the patterns compared to the recoil were pathetic!

I am close to western OK. After some research I have not been over there yet. I don't mind tough hunting but I do like to have turkeys to hunt!
They have a major problem with habitat and losing a lot of their cottonwoods! Hopefully they have had some of the moisture we have had in NM this winter!
