Re: 6.2L GMC Motor

My buddy Rich has the 6.2 LS engine in both of his Vettes. They recommend 93, but not required.
I have a 5.3 LS, and 6.0 LS engine in a couple of my cars. Same thing, and I have run both octanes. Can't really tell the difference, cept maybe using a stopwatch.

Need a little input

Since everyone I know in the world cuts grass, I'd like ya'lls input on the a top of the line zero turn mower. We have several good mowers now, but in the market for a new larger one. I have quite a few acres to deal with. Been looking at several John Deere ZTs, and half a dozen others. The Ariens 5...

Super Nice Gesture

Just in case any of you were wondering what our new Fearless Leader, Hoobilly Brice was made of,.... I'll give you a little tidbit. He just drove from Northern IN, to Port Arthur,TX, with a big U-Haul trailer loaded with supplies, to be given to the victims from the hurricane. Slept in the truck goi...

Re: 20 ga. 1-5/8 TSS vs. Same in 12 ga.

I shoot 1&5/8 from my 12 ga Beretta 586 UL (listed at 5 lb 14 oz, but mine actually weighs 6.75 with B-Square Cantilever rib mount, FF II, and sling). As others have said, the shot string will be shorter from a 12 vs a 20 with equal payload weight, but that is a non-issue with a stationary targ...

Small world we live in

Talkin with Brice earlier today. Seems we were in the same small place together, before we even knew each other or knew that we were into turkey hunting. Yep, Dale Earnhardt's last win in Talladega. We were there. He was in the front stands, and I was in the pits, and infield on top of a motorhome d...

Still do on occasion. Pop asked me a year later if I'd like to help him with typewriters, and copiers. That was 37 years...
