Re: Stoeger M3020 turkey
Also for anyone not wanting to grind off the front hideous sight on the turkey model, midwestgunworks.com HAD at one time an accessory barrel 24" long with a rib. I got one and put the other barrel in the closet.https://www.midwestgunworks.com/ssearch ... arch=33838

Re: All cleaned and ready . . . Now the wait lol!
20gahw8702.JPG It's all clean and lubed, ready to rock. I found 14 rounds of Hevi-13 #5s and 17 of Federal 3rd Degree loads. I take the Hevi's onto Federal land and the 3rd Degrees elsewhere. Now it's the waiting game. It's a loooong time until April 18th!! - perklo Have you actually patt...

Re: Federal 3rd degree
I actually talked to the shotshell product manager at Federal after having major issues with these and TSS loads when they first came to market. These and the early TSS rounds had the original Flitecontrol wad that had a harder/brittle plastic that would not work in ported chokes and even had break...

Re: Franchi 20 g nitro TSS #9 choke recommendation?
Contrary to popular belief, the tightest choke ain't always the best choice. As stated already, if you want a good uniform hunting pattern then I'd try IC .562 or .570 and don't overlook the Primos tightwad. Don't let the fact because it's not crazy expensive fool you into thinkin its not gonna shoot...

Try an IC .562 or .570
Primos tightwad- .570
Sumtoy .562-3
LBXR .568
For me out of my Stoeger M3020 & 9s the more open chokes have been doing better.

Re: 20 Gauge SemiAuto
M3020 gets my vote!!! Well...it actually gets 2 votes from me since I have 2 of them and really like them alot!!! Super dependable and clean inertia action ,light weight and can be had (if you search) for around 5 and change. The G2 with the pistol grip is also a great gun as well from what I hear. ...

Re: Added 2 New 20’s
I've been following Retay since way before they were only sold to a handful of dealers in the US, and I waited for them to do a 20 gauge, then waited for them to do a turkey model, and low and behold here they have a turkey model, now I'm waiting for a pistol gripped turkey model....HOPEFULLY!!!

Re: New Member - Choke Questions
BTW...alot of folks on here are partial to Indian Creek choke tubes (as am I), thing that is of utmost importance is to try several different chokes and constrictions and shoot what your gun shoots the best. And also there is this fella on here that loads and sells TSS shells foxtrotammo.com....he's...

Re: New Member - Choke Questions
First off WELCOME TO THE MADNESS!!!! To start with, I'd like to speak to the last part of your last post. The only way you get extra range & energy is if the pellet size is either bigger than what you've previously shot or the shot size you've been shooting is being pushed to a higher velocity. ...

Had mine done with no issues whatsoever. Are any of the posts'/videos from the manufacturer or it's affiliates? If so, it could be a liability issue. Their M3020 turkey model is D&T from the factory so I believe you're good to go on doing it. Just my .02...make sure you have a competent gunsmith...
