I prefer TSS #9 hand loads 2oz with factory bead.
But I have several guns and shoot sub gauges as well. Like 9.5 in the 410 and 9's in the 20ga.
Vortex Venom on 20ga, AT3 RD50 on 410, bead on 12's.

I probably wouldn't hunt with that pattern knowing what a 410 is capable of.
That will kill one at 30 but I wouldn't want to limit myself to that range.

AT3 RD50 is tough little sight. Very happy with it so far.

First 410 kill very fun and rewarding. Loaded Hal's 78NM with #9.5.
30 yard kill. Flipped him on his back. 21lb 13oz gobbler.
Shot 78NM at 50 yards put 117/10.
Stevens 301, AT3 RD50 red dot, CNC 385.

I have a AT3 RD50 red dot on my 301and it fits fine no adjustments needed and POI is spot on. Factory bead POI is low at 40.
Shooting TSS hand loads.

How do you imagine turkey populations and turkey hunting 5 , 10 and 15 years from now? Hopefully populations will at least remain the same or increase where needed. It'll be interesting to see if TSS is still a popular shell from the big manufacturers and how they will affect hand loaders supplies....

Do the Tristate have cycling issues like the M2?
How do they like 3" hulls?

Need a choke recommendation too. He'll be shooting 1-5/8 #9.
I'm thinking IC 555 or 562.

Going to load some 20ga 3" TSS hand loads for a buddy who has a Tristar 20ga semi-auto.
Will these guns cycle 3" roll crimps or do you have to trim the hull?
