I deep cleaned mine and totally wrecked my patterns. Took a bunch of rounds to get it back right. Sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. Just have to try and see. I'm sure glad I didn't polish it. Re: Mouth Calls vs Friction Calls and Trumpet style calls

Trumpets are versatile as you can kee kee with them. Get soft and loud. I think your seeing more trumpet talk on turkey forums etc, but vast majority have no idea what a trumpet is. Trumpets cut wind easily and I have used them with great success on very windy days. I also agree that the majority of...

Blackstone also makes some awesome pot calls that are very reasonably priced, here is a link to their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Blackstone-Custom-Calls-229301093751833/ I used a Blackstone green slate and a Halloran twisted sister on almost every hunt this season. I have Blackstone's ...

Have killed a few fall turkeys here in Indiana. Was ok. But it’s so hot during the first 2 weeks of Oct it’s not fun. Then late season it’s cold and sometimes brutal cold and archery only. Which sucks
