What’s the receiver look like after you removed the sight . Did you have to drill and tap for your EGW base or use existing holes ?

I have one on a M1 but it has a slug gun receiver which was drillled and tapped from factory . I did have a M2 drilled and tapped and used the Scalarworks mount .

Another thing . The Sumtoy mounts hole spacing is universal . But I would drill holes at .5 inch apart . That spacing would enable you to use other mounts if you every felt the need . The half inch spacing would let you use the EGW universal mount , Burris 336 and the Sumtoy mounts .

Take the both and trigger assembly out . Look on the inside and you will see where the receiver is thicker towards the stock . Stay in that part . The thinner part is where the barrel slides inside the receiver . It is thin there . By staying in the thicker part you get more threads , you don’t inte...

Looks interesting . I was kind of surprised by a 18.5 and 24 inch barrel . 18.5 is kind of short . How about just a 21 or 22 .
