Re: Thank you R.A.S., got em back

Mr. Rose did 2 more barrels for me. 20ga Remington cut to 18 1/2" and a choke install on a .410 NE Firearms. 20ga literally shot POI to the red dot after I reinstalled the barrel and IC .555 choke. My advice is just send the Man the barrels and be done with it, trying to find a barrel for what...

Re: Shortening SBE barrel?

We cut and threaded one for a neighbor of yours earlier this week. Threaded it for Tru-Choke tubes (not enough barrel wall thickness for anything else) and made a kinda decorative half round cut on the end of the rib.... Forgot to take a picture...Sorry :( (If you know Dusty ask him to show it to you)

Re: Mossberg overunder turkey is now a thing

Guys understand it’s not just soldering barrels together and being done. That’s what many companies do. They won’t hit similar poa. They’ll never hit exact anyhow but cheap guns just will be further inconsistent. Browning is a good example of a company adjusts/checks barrels but there cost is much ...

That Vintagers Shoot is something I could get in to, too bad my bank account disagrees. The closest I can get is squirrel hunting with my old flintlock. https://scontent-ord5-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/369148903_10227766339202521_4423006547431812370_n.jpg?stp=cp6_dst-jpg&_nc_cat=102&ccb=1-...

If you are looking at the EGW optic base for the SBE,then yes the hole spacing will match the Benelli factory holes. https://www.egwguns.com/remington-4-6-7 ... rail-0-moa

As far as the Nova, can someone confirm that they are designed that the carrier is in up position or not? Casey It is working as designed. The Nova and Super Nova (pump gun) carrier will move up when you loads shell(s) into the tube and remain up until you open the action. And shooting the inertia ...

The suitability of threading a cut down barrel generally comes down to two things; availability of the install...

Here's an optic mounted behind the 20ga top cover (on the solid section of the receiver). This picture came from the GN FB group.

Re: Optic mounting on the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 20ga ?

One of my local guys with a 20ga SBE III stopped in and let me have an observation. The top cover had enough movement (when installed on the gun) that I would be concerned with eventual loss of zero with an optic mounted on the cover. The tightness, or lack thereof, of the top cover fitting may vary...

Re: Stoeger 3020 Recoil Spring?

I've seen lower power springs (and maybe these were for 12 ga only for shooting lighter loads) but never seen an extra power. I'd source 2-3 factory springs and see if one was a bit a stronger than the others (Midwest Gun Works sometimes has them in stock). The nature of spring making is going to ha...
