I have hunted the last week in April in the Black hills once. And south of there in Nebraska 4 times. It can be warm and then snow.

Del killed young Tom . He called the bird in . I was calling sparingly with the travel call softy to sound like multiple turkeys. No decoys . Public land hunt. It was a blast !
