Patience killed all the birds I saw fall. We killed 5 birds in 2.5 days. Only one came in off roost, all others woodsmanship and patience were the keys.

The first stop for the 2023 travel call was bitter sweet. The first hunt was the Virginia Youth opener on April 1. The hunt started out a little slow with minimal gobbling off the roost.
