Re: Mossberg overunder turkey is now a thing
Guys understand it’s not just soldering barrels together and being done. That’s what many companies do. They won’t hit similar poa. They’ll never hit exact anyhow but cheap guns just will be further inconsistent. Browning is a good example of a company adjusts/checks barrels but there cost is much ...

Re: Looking for Rio Grand Turkeys in Kansas? Advice?
Kansas population is way down. If you're dead set on Kansas they have WIHA maps on the KDWP website. Plenty of ground to hunt but know it's hunted pretty hard due to Kansas Parks & Tourism pimping it out!

Re: Over/under suggestions
The Franchi is a great gun & it uses mobil chokes. The CZ o/u's are nice & have a pretty wide range in price but some use mobil & some use the huglu thread pattern. The mobil is much easier to find chokes. Do you want extractors or ejectors? How much do you want to spend? I have an ATA C...

Re: What's your best gobbler to date?
My best bird is a Rio that scored 109 & weighed 24.5lbs with 5 beards. Best spurs were 1 7/8in on an Eastern & another 1 7/8in on a Rio. My wife killed a 25lb bird with her 410 shooting the 383 strokers from Foxtrot & it stoned him.

Re: Swampfox Optics - Thoughts?
I have the swampfox kingslayer. I like it okay. I prefer the vortex venom or the burris fastfire III but that's just personal opinion. I think the venom or fastfire are a tad smaller which I like. The clarity is good. The quality is good. Different footprint than the burris or vortex.

Re: The Loss of a Legend
So sorry for your loss. I lost my father in 2012. I was just telling my wife today how I wished I could see my dad's smile & chat with him a while. I miss our talks! Cherish the memories & keep him alive in your heart because he'll always be with you! I pray that the Lord comforts you in you...

I have one on order. I played a saxophone in college. Seth makes bagpipes. He knows acoustics & he is super intelligent when it comes to wood characteristics. I was impressed when I spoke with him on the phone. He's going to make it big with his turkey calls. Craftsmanship apparently is top notc...

Re: Benelli or Beretta 28 gauge auto
I've shot both! I own the a400 xplor. Both are great guns & you won't go wrong with either one. Inertia vs gas! The beretta gas system is supposed to be different than previous models & it's supposed to cycle even dirty. I shot mine all duck season w/o cleaning it. Functioned flawless. Get t...

Re: Kansas Cell Coverage???
Most of the cities in Northern Kansas have cell service. I'm a real estate appraiser & work when I travel so I feel your pain. I have no issues with internet/cell service unless I'm in a remote area & still most of the time I don't have any problems. From Salina to Norton you should be mostl...

Re: Mossberg sa410 thread problem
It looks like there is a problem with the lead on the starting thread, the TPI (threads per inch) is the same but the actual threads look like the tool was worn a little when it was being machined. I'm gonna send it back to Midway, contacted Mossberg and they just said sorry to hear that and also r...

Had the same problem from Carlsons on my SA-28. Ordered 2 tubes, one worked the other didn't. Called Carlsons & they said they weren't mobil choke & I asked why they sold them to me & why one worked & the other didn't. Either way I sent them back & ordered an Indian Creek that f...

Re: Is anyone making yildiz 28 gauge choke tubes
One shot I appreciate it. I want an unported tube really though. I actually found these comp n chokes right after I posted. I spent a waterfowl season shooting a hand load of number 4 steel with this little gun and was impressed to say the least. Wanting to improve some patterns with steel and also...
