Posting sound files
What is the best way to post sound files? I converted it from whatever the iPhone format was to Mp3 and the site still wouldn't accept it.

Re: Weird shock gobble calls
The first tom I ever killed shock gobbled to a real pileated woodpecker. I bought a Knight and Hale woodpecker call soon after, thinking I was on to something. I haven't heard a pileated woodpecker call make a bird gobble since. Not from me, not from a real woodpecker.

Glad you are getting along well. I've only experienced it from the sidelines but all I hear is therapy is key. Keep up the good work.

Still have flight reservations into Denver on 5/24. Rental cars still IMO about 2 to 3 times higher than I'm willing to pay. The only thing I'm seeing is cargo vans, in town, at a reasonable price. Would require getting to a rental place 25 miles from the airport and then driving probably a thousan...

I'm not looking for help or advice
Just a shoulder to cry on. On opening day I had a quick, easy and successful hunt. Since that day I've stayed when I should have moved, moved when I should have stayed and bumped birds off the roost. The weather has been cold and windy on days when I could hunt. Being stupid I left private land with...

Stacked frame diaphragm calls
How hard and or expensive would it be for someone (me) with no experience and no equipment to make a couple of Primos Piggyback style calls? Just something I'm pondering for next season.

Re: Venison Enchilada
Looks delicious. I guess there are as many enchilada recipes as there are cooks. Wifey's enchiladas are made with chicken or wild turkey legs and thighs and have a white sauce made with whipping cream. I don't there's an actual recipe or I'd post it.

Paintbrush
The morning of my first encounter with Paintbrush I bumped a turkey off the roost. No way to know, for sure, if it was him or not. But if I was a betting man I’d say it wasn’t him. I slipped into position at my listening spot before day and was rewarded by an early gobble. Early gobbles are what us ...
