I have the Alps Grand Slam and like what it is able to carry but I removed the frame as it was too heavy with it. So I guess it is really not a "lounger" any longer. I'm really interested to get my hands on the ne Alps Impact Pro. Looks to promising.

Have seen on multiple occasions, different years exactly what Dtrkyman said about the jakes running off a mature Tom, and toms coming in quiet.

Wow! Congrats to both hookedspur and Roost1. I hope that call stays hot and is just as nice to the NY birds as it has been to the Ky birds. That call is getting some serious education.

Mine also like the IC with the Longbeard #6s in 3 or 3 1/2. Not so much with 5's though. I also believe it shot relatively well with one of the Primos chokes if your looking little less expensive. Great gun though!

Also in NY and would like to give in a shot. Early May works for me.
