Re: Tips on Sighting in Turkey Gun with Red Dot?

Start at about 15ft with #7-1/2 and sight it in to where you hit around 6 in. below the target center. Step off to 20 yards and shoot another #7- 1/2 to check windage then roll a tss at 40. I built a shot trap and it's the greatest thing I've done since switching to shooting tss. Sent from my moto g...

Re: Tss shell to shell inconsistency ?

If I understand, Rogue (Jeb’s) has been loading for a bit but just started actually selling to the public. I do not feel you bad mouthed them but just honest with what you got. Could be they are new and need to get things together. Others should know as well as guys wrap a lot of their hard earned ...

Re: Most Unique Gobbler Killed?

I've watched a few cool looking birds flop. And it always seems to be a unique hunt, like unusual things happened during the hunt or a crazy series of events led us to making decisions that concluded with success. The last pic isn't a unique color or anything, it was more of a unique hunt. https://u...

I'll buy it for him if you still have it. Any chance you have a winchester 1300 adapter too?

Mossberg Stock

I have a buddy with an 835 and he's wanting a pistol grip stock on it. Something along the lines of the turkey thumbhole, the Blackhawk talon, or the basic ATI shotforce stock. Trying to avoid the 6 position collapsible style. I can't seem to find anything for sale that's in that ball park but maybe...

Re: Encore 20 ga FF3 mount

Trying to get away for using a picatinny rail to mount a FF3 to an Encore 20 ga turkey barrel. Have already talked to EGW and they don't have anything other than buying a blank and having it machined for bottom radius and mount holes drilled. I know Sumtoy could do it but curious if anyone knows of...

Michigan?

Anyone here in Michigan? Highly considering taking a trip to hit some public land. Just hoping for suggestions on a unit before I make a random selection.

Re: What you think?

Looks good. The sign reminds me of missing road signs here in MT. Our sign shop says there are favorites, bighorn sheep crossing and the Hutterite horse and buggy being very popular. In my little backwoods town we have "Marshall Tucker" Rd. The sign usually only lasted a few weeks after t...

That's a lot of saturation to the photo. Looks good. Im a photographer at heart, I can't leave a picture in it's "normal" character. But I'll post one just for you. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200430/36e891523dc704c74456ae42466ee564.jpg Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

I was going to but it actually had the original screw (up top) so I left it and threw a rusty one in the bottom. Believe it or not I couldn't find any rusty nails lol.

What you think?

Last year I started taking all my deer skull mounts and making bases or habitat/scenery for them to hang on the wall. I got really involved with it and enjoy the heck out of it. Now I'm always looking for barn wood, signs, aged wood, old barbed wire in rotted fence posts, and the list goes on. I pi...

Re: Late Season A-hole

Tom Kelly spoke of this in The 10th Legion. Funny story... Unless you can relate, then it makes you want to hide and confess your unworthiness to even dare cast a shadow on the same ridge he sleeps on. Those are the kind of birds that get killed "accidentally" by some guy that does everyth...

Re: One gun

Right now I’d have to say my yildiz youth 20 o/u. Is short, it’s light and I can load it with very little to no noise. It’s a joy to carry and it’s short for easy maneuvering. I have my choice of 2 chokes/shell combos for close up and further out. It was not a whole lot of $ so if something happens...

Excellent idea, Terrible execution

Does anyone have a fix for the magnetic seat containment system on the Ol' Tom vests? My gun knocks it down, my decoy knocks it down, limbs knock it down... Sometimes it just falls on its own. I like the idea of using the magnets but it's aggravating to the point I almost dumped my stuff out of it a...
