I like this combo out to 20/25 yards. I want some spread but not too much. Over 25 I shoot the 562/tss 9s

I like yours It have less recoil than the Fiocchi? No noticeable difference in recoil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Way back in the day I bought a box of 3” golden turkey Fiocchi. Had worse recoil than the federal or Winchester lead 3.5” turkey loads. I might have shot 2 shells from that box a...

Re: More Yildiz O/U testing

Have no fear about shooting a dove load inside 30 yds. A heavy trap or sporting clays load would be even better, as it will contain higher quality shot. As long as you have at least 100 in 10" you will have a dead turkey every time. Well that’s reassuring. The joy with the O/U is the TSS will ...

Gun case for traveling

Just make sure it’s a hard case that can’t be pried open AT ALL. If they can stick a finger in the case they may not let it go. Locks. In every lock loop. Keep key. Don’t do tsa lock. Wait until it goes thru scanner and they put it on belt if you can in case they want to open case. The hard cases ar...

Re: Mississippi's most wanted outlaw

I left the MS turkey hunters Facebook page because I got sick of seeing all this Carl ray ****. Annoying to say the very least. I know there are some MS hunters and some traveling here that will kill as many as they can with no regard for bag limits. Unfortunately there are people like this everywhe...

Re: 28 gauge turkey hunters

Get a target and shoot it and see what it will do
I have a Yildiz 28ga that I shoot factory full and tss 9s or 10s
It patterns well to 40/50
That’s as far as I would shoot at something with a shotgun anyway
I got a pattern I’ll see if I can find and post

Decoy or no decoy

For me depends on where I am. I will use a decoy in open fields. In woods I don’t My experience is if you call on edge of a field and the bird doesn’t see a hen in the field he usually won’t commit I have a Montana xd hen that folds down real small so I can stick it in my pack. It’s not super realis...

I got an alps aluminum. Only colors they had were orange and lime green so I spray painted mine. It’s light and comfortable to sit it.

Only thing I don’t like about the Yildiz is the shiny receiver. I got mine cerakoted. Other than that it’s been a good little gun for the price. I have a 20 and 28ga
