Re: Decoy or no decoy

I carry them (DSD jake and 2 hens) but n
Don't usually use them. I bet I'm about 50/50 ratio. I hate carrying them for sure.

Re: Weird shock gobble calls

Yes the fox40 whistle. I've often thought of seeing what an air horn would do.

I too have had my DSD about 10 yrs. I had the original hard plastic and now the ace softer plastic. Both look great. Yours look a bit off.

Will primos vest

Anybody seen one yet? I think I may like to get one but haven't heard much about it. It's a bit expensive though.

I love my triumphs, I have two. Both are the gray weathershield. One with black stock and one with mossy oak treestand camo.

Re: Save the poults

Well it only makes sense that the more traps = more catches. Property size comes into play. And the neighborhood surrounding.

Re: Save the poults

I trapped a few years ago but then took a break from it for a few years. It's a major time commitment having to check them daily according to the rule book. So your schedule has to be flexible and timing has to be right. My property is 45mins away so not to bad but yet not easy. So this year I got b...

Re: COVID VACCINE!

I got my first Moderna shot on the morning of new years eve. Arm was sore for about 3 days. The afternoon of the shot I was real tired, a bit of upset stomach and felt like I was hot. Not extreme though. I was still able to go have a few drinks and dinner with my wife. Made it till about 1am. Everyo...

New .410 choice

So I'm torn between the mossberg 500 or the sa410.
Both the camo models.
I already have a few single shot h&r's, a bps, wood 500 and a SxS in .410 so the auto is a bit appealing to me. But idk about the reliability of it. Turkey imports worry me.

Which should I get?

Re: One gun

I'll stick with my Winchester sx2 universal hunter topped with aimpoint. Ported barrel, lengthened cone, polished action, trigger job, Indian creek .655, and lifetime supply of Hevi13.

I also highly recommend Weaponshield. I use the oil and grease.
