FYI Make sure and watch Steve Rinella's episode on "MeatEater" concerning trichinosis contracted from eating improperly cooked black bear meat. Congrats on the tag and be careful.

Congrats  Dogs or bait???? :stir: Bait. Although hounds are an option. I know a fella out of Winn that hunts with great dogs, I believe in 2 different areas in the U.P.. Your tag isn't probably in those areas as I'm sure he may have room for another hunt?? Regardless, kill a big bruin :thu...

Got drawn for a Michigan bear tag today. It takes approx. 9 years to get drawn in the area I like to hunt. This would have been my 9th year.IMG_3106.jpg

He's directly below a spillway. we are standing on the covered bridge across the river. This pic is from a couple years ago and shows the bridge and spillway.

I have a gamo varmint. Good gun for money. Hardest part about spring air guns is the recoil on optics you have to get a scope that is made to withstand the awkward recoil a spring gun has.
Not sure I understand what you mean by spring gun. What other options are there ?

Air Rifles.

Considering an air rifle for critter control in the garden. Not looking to spend a bunch of money (maybe 200 bucks) and was just wondering if anyone uses a Benjamin. I see they come in .177 and .22 cal. Most of the varmint will be rabbits with occasional ground hogs.

I recently ordered a pair of full fingered weight lifting gloves from an online store call "Bonanza". Apparently they are some type of broker company. Anyway the order was being handled by "Discount Golf" with pretty decent reviews. Anyway, waited over 2 weeks, kept getting the run around so I canc...

Whatever these are. I find them in nearly every gizzard I open up from Nebraska to Alabama. It may be because they’re tough to grind down but turkeys seems to like them.

They look like wild cherry pits.
