You can hunt Nebraska if you already purchased tags. It's not just NR landowners.

Killed two opening morning within an hour and then it flooded the rest of the day. Killed my last two straight of the roost Sunday am. Opening mornin...

Re: Oklahoma turkeys

Game Warden in the area is saying it is because of all the hailstorms that have had in the last couple years. My buddy went under a roost tree af...

I have been military now over 12 years and guide for the hunts of honor put on by gobbler down custom calls. It is very rewarding giving back to fellow brother and sisters in arms and Leo. We put this hunt in every year and was lucky this year to have a outfitter in Texas open his ranch to all six o...

Louisiana Bird Down

Went with a buddy this am to his place in Louisiana. Didnt hear anything on roost. Struck this bird at 945 and he was dead at 947. Quickest I've ever had a bird come in. Barely had time to get sat down. http://i.imgur.com/UGzWEXU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wCvzwi5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wI09pi3.jpg

Quick Oklahoma Hunt

I went up yesterday PM to Oklahoma and killed two birds this am by 745. One of these Rios were whiter than most merriams being killed. Set up about 150 yes from where they were roosted in a big wheat field. That pitched down to opposite end of field with a couple hens but couldnt see the DSD strutti...

That's not entirely true. I have killed quite a few 2 year old birds with beards 11+ in. All had 11/16-1in spurs.

Congrats on a successful hunt buddy. Hopefully your pops can pop one in the am.
