Re: Weatherby Element 20
No sir. Nature of the semi auto's. All the semi's I have installed springs in have some creep before break. Has to do with the geometry of the sear I assume?

Here is a couple patterns with the shortened SBE2, .665 Indian Creek, and 3.5" #9 TSS handload. Gun performed the same with 26" barrel prior to shortening.

Yes they will work. Lowered mine significantly. I use springs from Taran Tactical and Roth Performance.

Re: Big Bores I have put together
Here is a picture of how far back the Warne allows the FF3 verses the Meadow Creek. I know there are differences in where the mount will work on various ribs so I ain't saying they are perfect for every model but I sure like the location on the Remington rib.

Re: Big Bores I have put together
Here is another picture of my Old School 11-87turkey gun I have had since the early 90's. Put a Meadow Creek on it the other day and a Burris FF3 to maybe give it some new life and bring her out of retirement. I like the Meadow Creek option but I prefer the FF3 closer, maybe more of an aesthetics th...

Re: Shortening SBE barrel?
Thought I would share a few pictures of Dusty Roads SBE2 that he had Mr. Rose shorten. He does excellent work and I would not hesitate to send him one to shorten.

Weatherby Element 20ga FS
Got a Weatherby Element Turkey Model 20ga that is mint condition. Had gun Drilled/Tapped and a Sumtoy base with a Burris FF3 mounted. Installed trigger springs for better trigger and shot about 3 time. Gun has never been hunted with. Picture of gun and pattern are shown in the Thread located in Smal...

Re: SA28 Patterns
So far, other than the nasty trigger, it has only had one mishap. One of his Rogue shells failed to lock the action open but I would assume it just needs to be shot some more. It has ejected everything so far but we have not tried to see if it cycled another shell yet as we have just been trying his...

Re: SA28 Patterns
Yes gun was not even cleaned from factory. Not my gun but I might have to have one! Lol It is the SA28 Turkey Tactical. My buddy Dusty Roads has exact same model. I shot these patterns and noticed the terrible factory trigger so I got him an MCARBO spring ordered.

Re: SA28 Patterns
I was impressed with the Jebs XXFull in its 10" count and the general appearance of the 20". He has a variety of different stuff to try after showing him some of Dusty Roads patterns (which are extremely good) with his SA28 Tactical Turkey he is planning on ordering some Fox Trot when it b...
