Re: new go to diaphragm call post
Seriously mouth calls are like "a box of chocolates" you never know what you're gonna get. What might sound like pure turkey to one guy wont for the next. DC Customs makes a good call. Used them this year. More small name companies selling custom calls on Facebook now. American Strutter makes a good...

Re: Before Pulling the Trigger
Can someone tell me what they do when they have a turkey in range but their barrel isn’t lined up for the shot? Say he’s over by the side. Do you imperceptibly move the barrel for the shot or do you swing the gun quickly over for the shot? Or is it something in between where you make a slow but del...

Re: 28 ga. & .410 turkeys
Hey Mike,
All is well. Hunted a few days in Tn killed 2 with the 12ga. Plan to hunt with 410 & 28 in KY if I can leave the 2oz loads at home.
Let us know how you do with the 28.
Hope all is well buddy. Stay healthy and God bless.

So in your opinion it will hold up for the season as long as nothing crazy happens? Yes sir absolutely buddy. I'm kind of rough on my guns with crawling and this and that just hunting you know and the mossy oak wraps holds up. Have not had an one issue. No peeling or fading. One gun has had the wra...

I've put mossy oak wraps on 2 of my shotguns and they both turned out really good. For the money they can't be beat. They look good and the material is tough.

Re: Yildiz SPZ ME 28
Took the Yildiz 28 to a local gunsmith gonna have trigger lightened and get rid of the creep. Will shoot bottom barrel next may use it for close shots.
If the trigger gets fixed I'll be happy. Can't wait to kill a gobbler with the 28.

Hey hoobilly and Southern Sportsman thanks for the feedback.
I do use the cardboard osc. Given both options I'll have to figure out the best route. May try trimming hulls again.

12ga 3.5" fold crimp
Are there any options for fold crimping a 12ga 3.5" hull besides a MEC? I do not trim my 3.5" hulls and currently roll crimp. Some shells are okay and other too long to cycle in an auto. I've tried trimming hulls but couldn't find a consistent method. Nothing against a MEC but don't want to spend th...

The little kicks 410 looks good. Constriction not listed on website. Can't go wrong with a Kicks or IC.

Heaviest = 26lb10oz killed in Tennessee 2019 spring. Weighed on 2 different digital scales.
Lightest = 14-15lb Kentucky long beard. Didn't weigh him but should have he was a 2 year old with a little body, he was light.

Any updates on aftermarket chokes for Yildiz 28 gauge?
Comp-N-choke has a few but not much.
Has anyone bought a different choke other than CNC?
