Thanks a bunch fellas!!! Not doing much today, just soaking my 3, 2 barrel carbs from my Hot Rod boat outboard engine. In the middle of rebuilding them. Have not done anything to them in 14 years or more. They started not idling very good. Still good at wide open throttle, but idle was crap. Just waiting on the new Carb kits now.
BTW Ronnie, guess you ain't heard bout the Vette. Got the whole new engine finished, and DBR Racing set up the computer on the hub Dyno. She ended up putting up 600 HP naturally aspirated. I was very pleased. BUT,...................... Mother Nature stepped in!!! Huge tree got blew over from a storm right on top of the carport. Yep, the Vette was under there!

Good news though,.... Guess I remember how to swing a hammer,... lol.
Rebuilt the carport with no problems. Did take several weeks of an hour or so at a time.
Dang 97 degree days, hard to stay at it for long at a time. I just took my time with it.
Dang, I forgot how heavy an 80 lb bag of concrete was. I'm satisfied.

Dang, that sucks. Not sure what all that hub aspirated natural dyno stuff means, but it sounds fast.

Good job on the rebuild. Turned out nice. And an 80lb. bag of concrete weighs close to a hundred pounds.

All I know is they are about twice as heavy as they were 30 years ago.

Welp, my carport is getting it's first rain,... If you can believe that,... lol
Hard to believe it has not rained in two months, ain't it? Least I ain't had grass to cut.
And,... The carb rebuild didn't work. Kinda figgered. I didn't find anything wrong with them.
I'll have to search elsewhere for the problem.
