Re: Ohio early goose/teal
Thanks guys, the only thing I enjoy as much as Turkey hunting is shooting big honkers in the decoys over water. Its a blast. Used a 1-3/8oz load of hw13 #4s on these guys. That is lethal on geese.

Re: Ohio early goose/teal
I’ve used my SP10 and #2’s steel and that just murdered them
Hoping to 28ga some here soon
Re: Ohio early goose/teal
I have heard the 2s are bad medicine. I will have to give them a try some time. We eat a ton of geese in my house. Between venison, goose and duck we have basically eliminated the cost of beef. Venison and goose obviously make up the largest chunk of that. My kids still prefer Turkey though

hoping to try the TSS 8's and 9's in the 28ga soon. I can't imagine what a 20ga using say 7.5's would do to honkers probably be a bloodbathjsh909 wrote: ↑September 8th, 2019, 1:17 pm I have heard the 2s are bad medicine. Good shooting on the geese Congratulations. I have been shooting some with the 410 with 8s and 9s. 40yds and in they are clean kills.

Heck yea man, I did that last year. Its a blast shooting them with a .410. Feels like shooting a pop gun at them. Then they fold up, it's a rush.
