Stevens 301 .410

Post by Jstocks »

I saw one at 3 Brothers Arms today in Stapleton, Al.
$185 for anyone looking. It was the mossy oak with rail and screw in choke.

I am picking one up today at my local and extremely small gun shop for $200 ,tax and PICS instacheck , out the door. Guessing the gun was in the $175 range.
I'll find out for sure how much the gun actually costs when I get there.
He said he could get one and I said OK!

With the 301 .410 you get a lot of gun for $175 =/-.
Especially if you factor in the cost of taking a plain Jane .410 and have a gunsmith install swivel studs, drill and tap receiver with rail, and have barrel threaded with screw-in full choke.

From what I’ve seen, that 394/5 is a good one

I am going to try it but I would like to get something .389 to compare with.
I'll have to see what the guys at Indian Creek have going on.
