Pretty slick. When will it be available?

At five pounds it might as well be a 20 gauge, unless you're sticking to factory ammo and want the least recoil.

I got a single shot Hatfield I'm going to move in order to purchase a semi auto. Shorter. Arrel, Sumtoy choke, and Burris FF2.

I love tinkering and setting up new guns. This one looks like it would be an easy one to set up cause all the basics seem to be there.

There are some other good, economical choices for .410 single-shots when it comes to weight and finish. One of the more recent entries is the Midland with 18.5" (4.55 lbs) and 22" (4.65 lbs.) barrels and sub 5 lb. weight. It is the "folder" type without an exposed hammer similar to the Yildiz and older Beretta single-shots.
The Stevens is made in China. The Yildiz, Turkey. Midland is made in West Virginia. Midland had its origins in Birmingham, England, but later moved to the USA. All of the above have pluses. I am partial to the Yildiz because of weight, finish, and quality of wood on some guns. No .410 is lighter at under 3.25 lbs. The barrels are satin chromed on the outside rather than blued and the receiver is anodized aluminum alloy with steel inserts in strategic locations. The Midland is all steel with styrene stocks and forend. It is blued and solidly built with factory installed stock swivel studs. It is priced right, too, in the $135-$150 range. Gil

This is the gun I've been wanting that nobody made until now. Scope mount installed and a threaded barrel, excited to buy one as soon as they're available.

Well mine came in today. It's pretty sweet. Weighs exactly 5lbs, which is definitely heavier than my yildiz. I don't mind because the barrel is beefer. Gun balances well at just over 42". Can't wait to see how it patterns compared to the yildiz. The last pic shows the length compared to my 870 20 gauge. ImageImageImageImage

Well did you pattern it yet? I’m going to pick mine up Saturday, just curious what it’ll do with 9.5s or 10s.

Dang that’s stout! I should be picking mine up tomorrow. I can’t make my mind up whether I want to load 9.5s or 10’s in a 13/16 oz load or not.

I'm not seeing one available anywhere online. It's not even showing on the savage site. I have a new yildiz in the box I was going to work on, but this will fit the bill way better if I can only find one. Would someone mind sharing a price range?

From what I’ve seen $150-$200. I’m picking mine up today for $180 cash price.

Sports south distributors can get them shipped to your dealers
