Re: New Toy
I'll start by saying, I have the hottest butchtress on the planet. I could literally go in this store everyday to flirt and ask her questions I know the answer to. She knows we love chuckeye so she sees us and takes us to them. Sal only lets me go once a week I'd go every day
It's an awesome place, from your typical meats, to oddball stuff like rabbit, oxtail, chicken gizzards etc and an amazing smoke house and deli. People drive hours to get their ten minutes for me.
Than I found a farm market never been to that's close and nice.
So sal wanted blackened catfish, corn and zucchini. I whipped up a tarter sauce, mayo, sweet relish splash of mustard and I diced fresh chili peppers to add. Sal hates tarter, said best she's had, it was tasty.
Normally do corn on BS unhusked, tonight changed up, took silk off, peeled back, buttered, rotated every four minutes, peel husk back ,re butter and 1/4 turn.

Re: New Toy
Lol I actually am losing weight, like 145. Honestly after cooking or smoking I have little appetite. My ma used to say "when someone else makes me something, it tastes so much better" It's the truth, I think smelling cooking it neutralizes your taste budstimbrhuntr wrote: ↑August 16th, 2018, 10:17 am So do you actually eat any of that food or just take pics to post of it LOL If you are eating it I hope your fire department has a heavy duty lift basket !

Looks good tenderloin?
I have no problem recommending, seriously simple to master. Spend more time thinking about what to cook than how to cook

Re: New Toy
Be honest something threw together, 1 cup dukes mayo, tablespoon or a fuzz more sweet relish, squirt of mustard. Then I used fresh chili peppers, seeded deveined, minced I did throw a pinch of seeds in to add a lil heat. I could see it working with jalepeno too.
I was seriously impressed with it, totally different than store bought. I am my own worst critic cooking, always thinking I coulda done this or that, not sure if I'd change a thing except jalepeno for more spice
Just eyeball the relish and mustard based on amount of mayo
P.s best part of this recipe, I get everything mixed up, fridge, go to wash hands, decide to pee first.. MISTAKE I now what an STD feels like, seriously thought I was gonna die..
