My New Food Plot Seeder

Bought this new seeder thru Amazon and got a pretty good deal.Final price was $129.00. It actually came in through Sportsman Guide. Had to buy a 7 inch insert extension so it would clear the bumper on my side by side.Worked great.Need to fabricate a mount for the gate controller that will allow for use from the seat. It is advertised as a 125 lb capacity. However it only holds 50 lbs of oat or cereal rye seed.I guess 125 would be for smaller seed like clover.
Out of curiosity I contacted SG cust. service and asked if this was correct or did they possibly send the wrong seeder. I only wanted to know about the seed capacity. Why didn't it hold 125 ibs. I pointed out that I am very happy with the product. Numerous e mails back and forth. Now they are sending me a return shipping label to send it back to them. Good grief . I don't want to send it back. I just want to know their thought on the capacity of seed.
As far as I can tell it comes in an 80 lb and the 125. All the pics I have seen indicate I have the 125. Gotta say, SG cust. service is great, but they still haven't answered the main question.
Oh well. Plots are in. It rained a couple days later. Turnips, radishes, cereal rye,and oats are all popping up.Early doe season Sept.22nd and 23rd.

You guys are lucky to have had rain. It's raining today thank goodness, first in 4+ weeks. Our corn has tiny ears all yellow. They are starting to chop, that's earliest I've seen.

Went and checked my buddies elk plots last weekend, rye won't grow and you know rye, grow in a desert

We’ve gotten rain at the right time. Had a 3 week hot dry spell. Now the grass is back to growing gangbusters

Billie, Since I've heard that you were a champeen watermelon seed spitter, I thought you had made some
modification to yourself & would be spitting the seeds. Imagine my surprise when I read your initial post!!!!
