Royal slam done
Royal slam done
Completed my royal slam April 25th. It was a awesome trip. Had a blast in Mexico. The hospitality was second to none. Loaded with birds. I killed the evening I got there. We killed 9 birds in 1.5 days. 6 of us. Then it was story time and drinking time the other 2 days. GOOD TIMES.
Rio Sonora outfitters gets it done.
Great group of guys to in camp. Stats of my bird. 18# 10.875” beard and .750 spur and a broke spur.

Congrats on the Royal Slam! Was this your first time to hunt in Mexico? How was that process? Did you fly in or drive drive into Mexico?

Re: Royal slam done
Thanks. Yes this was first time hunting in Mexico. We flew in to Arizona. Brad Fulk guide picked us up and we got a hotel in seirra vista Arizona that night. They picked us up next morning headed to border. Border crossing was easy. Then drove to hunting camp from there. Bout 5 hrs. It was so easy. Everything. Just listen to brads guys and everythang is good.gobblerchsr wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2018, 12:44 pm Congrats on the Royal Slam! Was this your first time to hunt in Mexico? How was that process? That’s why we did it in Mexico with a guide. Easy. I’ve researched it for a long time.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Congratulations Raspy!
Did you all take shotguns with you? Or use guns provided by the guide? I hear it’s a pain to take guns across the border.

It’s not that big of deal to take guns across according to brad. It was gonna be a extra $150 I think to take it across but that wasn’t the problem I just didn’t want to pack it.
